14,000+ TVs. 25 million annual users. The Venetian Resort’s television UI needed to match the scale and elegance of the hotel.
I designed a system that was both innovative and simple, incorporating architectural motifs like Italian columns and video previews within navigation. The result was a distinctive, on-brand interface that pushed creative and technical boundaries.
Buttons that give you a window into the experience.
Design a premium in-room television UI for The Venetian, the largest hotel in the U.S., that reflected the luxury of the resort while serving 25M annual guests. The system needed to handle both entertainment and service integrations across 14,000 TVs.
Researched luxury hospitality design trends and analyzed competitors’ in-room systems.
Created mood boards inspired by Venetian architecture, art, and color palettes.
Sketched early wireframes focusing on clean navigation and hierarchy of options.
Prototyped layouts and flows to accommodate streaming, live TV, and guest services.
Explored multiple visual styles (ornate vs. minimalist luxury).
Iterated on menu structures to balance content discovery with service options.
Tested typography and iconography for readability at distance.
Rolled out to thousands of guest rooms with positive guest feedback.
Helped Venetian differentiate its experience and meet high guest expectations.
Strengthened Enseo’s portfolio with a flagship property showcase, increasing revenue by $3 Million annually.
This project taught me how to blend brand storytelling with usability, translating a hotel’s physical identity into a digital experience that guests interact with daily.
