The Guesthouse at Graceland presented a unique opportunity to work with the Elvis estate on a television UI that fans of the iconic singer would appreciate as part of their experience at the resort. With a career of over 3 decades, Elvis' music and style evolved from the ‘Jailhouse Rock’ look from the 1950s to the film and gospel music of the 1960s, to the Vegas residency from the 1970s.

Fans of Elvis are passionate about his music from these eras and the nostalgia that comes with it. I worked with our Engineering team to turn on the TV when the guests enter the room and greet the guest with a fun choice. When guests choose their ‘favorite’ Elvis, the entire TV system is branded to the Elvis of that decade, with music playing from the decade as well. The UI allows them to change the branding at any time, and remains until the guests leave the resort.
